I bought a belt from Wal Mart that works pretty good, I'm sure it won't last as long as the special belts listed but it does the job. It's about an inch and a half wide and cost about 10 bucks. Just my 2 cents. Lips Sealed

You are correct.  In the begining for IWB carry there is not near the evident difference in a Dept Store belt & a gun belt.  My first carry was Ruger P85 in 9mm.  Belt was a quality leather Western belt from Baskins.  It lasted about a yr before sagging was real evident.  Lesser immatation leather belts will start showing major weakening by about the 6mo time frame.

OWB & steel gun carry, there is no comparison from day one.

The price of some belts are a bit shocking, but I've found in the long run they are worth it. You might get lucky and get a year or so out of a belt not designed for a holster as long as it gives decent support. I've found that I had to cinch them up so tight to support the gun / holster that it was uncomfortable, even worse if sitting or driving.

That's why I went with a shoulder holster or pocket inside a vest or coat.  The sagging of my love handles precludes effective IWB and even OWB without printing.

I have a FIST INC #70 vertical shoulder holster that I use quite often. It's one of the most comfortable holsters I own and it's an excellent choice while driving.

I give a 5-star rating to Crossbreed's Super Tuck holster.  Have one for the Glock 23 and Kahr Arms CW40.  I've tried everything from "one size fits many" holsters to supremely priced handmade holsters...  I've ordered extra Super Tucks as back up as I want to use them a very, very, very long time, even if for some reason the Crossbreed company goes outa biz.
