I'm just kidding Bruce, if you miss it that much you can have it back. I fed it and played with it and everything.

After carrying the CRKT for awhile, I found that it pressed painfully into my hip when carried IWB at 9:00 with my Sig P220 Carry in a Crossbreed Supertuck at 4:00.

So, it was off on the hunt again - this time for a folding knife. I recently settled on a Gerber Fast Draw (http://www.knifeworks.com/gerberfastdrawnylonhandlecomboedgeassistedopening.aspx) and have been quite happy with it. Conceals easily in any pocket, deploys very quickly, razor sharp, and reasonably priced.

There are 2 men I look up to: Richard Marcinko, the Rogue Warrior - and Ted Nugent, the Axe Warrior. Both are as subtle as, and devastatingly effective as, a hand grenade.

I just picked up a Buck Vantage that I am going to try to EDC for a while and see how it works out.  They are cheap to start with (So I won't be real worried about losing it or tearing it up!) and I got another 10% off at Dick's Sporting Goods because it was a display model!   Wink

FWIW:

In the year since I made my first post on this thread my appreciation for knives in general has increased, (partially because the State of Georgia legalized automatic knife carry), and my daily carry LWS380 has pretty much been replaced by a Ruger LCP w/CT Laser..

I still love my LWS380, and when "tiny, tiny, tiny" is required it is still my cc pistol of choice, but it's hard to deny the values of the Ruger LCP, especially when equipped with a Crimson Trace Laser.

I have found I can shoot the Ruger LCP without the inherent finger pain associated with firing the fine Seecamp with greater accuracy, and the value of the laser vs no laser, is IMO, a big deal.   In fact IF Crimson Trace would make a laser for the LWS380 I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Anyway, my most current edc knife is a Benchmade 2550 Mini-Reflex recommended to me by a Seecamp forum member.  Since I can carry an automatic knife now (legally) the Mini-Reflex is my choice for daily carry.

If I take a trip or go someplace an automatic knife is not legal, I'll fall back on my assisted opening Kershaw "Shallot" w/Damascus blade..  The SpeedSafe one finger opening system is almost "automatic quick", but it's legal in many places where an automatic knife simply is not.

Here's a photo of my Mini-Reflex and my LWS380, also my SK & Shallot.  My Ruger LCP is off to Innovative Arms for the slide refinish/external sight upgrade..  I'll post a photo of that later if anyone has the interest.

Best Wishes,

jesse
