New from Israel
Mar 7th, 2010 at 4:16pm

Hi everyone,

I've lived in Israel now almost 4 years and am hoping to get my pistol permit here soon.  We moved from Texas where I had a CCL.  I also have a valid New Hampshire non-resident license.

Howdy and Welcome from West Texas.  You seem to get around.  I spent a little time in Tel Aviv back in the 80's and took a scuba dive trip to Eilat down on the Red Sea.  My impression is that except for Palestinian rockets, West Texas is a lot like Israel.

I think you'll like the forum.  Lots of good info, friendly argument, and a nice, family atmosphere.

Welcome Aboard.  I'm not certain, but I think you are our first international member.  We would certainly be interested in hearing about the Israeli gun permit requirements.... and any other things you choose to discuss.

And another Texas Welcome to you!  As Dave49 noted, it will be interesting and informative to get an international view of firearm ownership. I am curious about the "citizen soldier" concept, too.

Yes, I, too  would be interested in hearing about your experiences. Please fee free to start new threads in the board areas that focus on getting permits and handguns issues or anything else you would like to share. We will enjoy reading them.
A big Howdy from Fort Worth, too!  Smiley
