Either a Glock 17 or Glock 19 IWB.

I have been known to carry a Glock 34 or 35 that way as well.

My conceal carry is a sw990L .40sw with a 4 inch barrel. I carry it in the crossdraw position all year. Fall, winter and spring I'm usually wearing some kind of jacket so it is no problem. In the summer I just wear oversized shirts untucked and have had no problems. I'm under 6 feet but it conceals well.

I don't have any short barreled pistols so I guess that makes me different.
I think the shortest barrel I have is 5 inches on my centerfire pistols.
I do have a colt model 1849 that has a four inch barrel but that is for fun nothing else. It was the secret service pistol in Lincoln's day so they thought it was enough to protect a President.
I have looked at some smaller and lighter pistols but most also have limits on what can be fired in them. The wife's can't shoot the 9mm rounds that I shoot in my full size and that is from the manufacturer. Use the larger stuff and you pay the full tab to get if fixed. It is much easier to carry but I still like the big old ones. I really don't care if I "print" which means you can see that I have something. I carry mainly for me and being a little guy at 6 foot 1 inch and around 250 pounds I am not hard to see in the first place. I am not using a cane yet but there is one in my future and then I will have to change the way I carry.
